After the recent tack day... I decided to get the clutch and flywheel changed. The flywheel had started to make a little noise when you turned the car off.. so while I'm down there got the clutch done aswell.. £500 for parts so not cheap!

recently done my 3rd track day at the Full GP Circuit at Silverstone as part of the BMW Car Club.. excellent day.. car was spot on...

Koni Suspension

Finally had a chance to finally upgrade the suspension.. opted for Koni FSD's, Eibach Pro-Kit springs and Rogue Engineering Mounts - also replace top mounts and drop links all round..

Been a while.. but have had to do some maintenance. Had a service done from local kwick fit and changed the fuel filter/pollen filter myself. I cleaned out the pipercross and replaced the turbo breather.

I have another track day booked throught he BMW club with organised tuition on how to get the best out of the car without killing it..

Had two new front tyres fitted.. and got the alignment done after the powerflex bushes went on.. £246.. but the car drives and feels so much better..

Had a bit of a noise coming from the rear.. rumble/vibration feeling when going at about 60/70mph.. had it looked at and the propshaft bearing or also known as "doughnut" has worn out and split.. had lots of play in it..

Got it replaced and all is ok... new Powerflex bushes also fitted to the front.

Went to a track day with the BMW Club at Bedford Autodrome... was brilliant.. my first track experience... feel a bit hooked now but won't be doing it in my pride and joy.

Few little maintenance tasks.. alternator started to drop charge so had a re-con unit fitted - £175... front wishbone rear bushes went again after only 8 months.. so have bit the bullet and bought some powerflex ones - £100.
